Visit to Harvington Hall June 29th

Harvington’s imposing moat and artificial island can be traced back to the 13th-century, It is set in beautiful surroundings close to Kidderminster.

The tour introduced us to enthralling tales of devotion and Catholic persecution with impressive and ingenious priest holes, seven in all, which can still be seen.

The interior is equally impressive with a collection of rare Elizabethan paintings as a particular highlight.

An interesting and informative visit enjoyed by all.
